Introduction

Wavepiston is a successful Danish clean-tech company with a non-intrusive, simple, robust and low-cost solution for harvesting the energy of the ocean. Wavepiston is running two demonstration projects. One focuses solely on the conversion of electricity. Another focuses on a combined solution for both electricity conversion and desalination for island communities.

Challenge

When Wavepiston initially reached out to us in 2019, they planned a large scale capital raise. They wanted to approach professional investors and to explore crowdfunding with private investors to support their ambitious business strategy. They therefore needed to restructure and enrich their communication toolbox with visuals and animations. Enabling them to communicate in a way that was easy to interpret for both industry-focused investors and investors with limited industrial and technological background knowledge.

Solution

Together with Wavepiston team, we built a storyboard around their unique patented technology and vision. Our visuals and animations show the full scale of Wavepiston’s technology and value proposition in a self-explanatory format. This includes some very advanced animations and detailed visualisations of moving elements in water and the Wavepiston energy system flow.

Wavepiston successfully secured new capital and told us that our animations and visuals were essential in their efforts to achieve more capital.
